Join us for a comprehensive 75-minute session dedicated to exploring the PEAK (Promoting the Emergence of Advanced Knowledge) Curriculum, a cutting-edge approach within Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for enhancing language and cognitive skills. This presentation is tailored for educational professionals, including teachers and administrators, who are committed to advancing their students' cognitive, developmental and educational outcomes.
The PEAK Curriculum integrates traditional ABA principles with contemporary relational frame theory to promote complex language and cognitive abilities in learners. This session will provide a detailed overview of the four modules of the PEAK Curriculum: Direct Training, Generalization, Equivalence, and Transformation. Attendees will learn how each module targets specific aspects of language and cognitive development, from basic skill acquisition to the formation of complex relational networks.
We will share evidence-based practices and practical strategies for implementing the PEAK Curriculum in diverse educational settings across the state of Hawaii, supported by real-life case studies and success stories on the island. Video clips of implementation techniques will also enable attendees to see firsthand how the PEAK Curriculum can be used to foster significant advancements in students' language and
cognitive skills.
By the end of the session, attendees will be equipped with a deeper understanding of the PEAK Curriculum and its application, providing them with the tools necessary to enhance their instructional practices and improve student outcomes.
