This presentation focuses on leveraging the ABLLS-R and AFLS scoring grids to determine targeted learning objectives and design
effective instruction within educational settings. By emphasizing the assessment process as a component of a broader, person-centered approach, we ensure that the most salient needs of each learner are identified and addressed appropriately in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
We will explore how to integrate assessment data into a comprehensive goal-selection framework that prioritizes the unique strengths and needs of each student. Attendees will learn how to use ABLLS-R and AFLS tools to create meaningful and achievable objectives that align with the learner's educational and developmental priorities. Additionally, we will discuss strategies for designing instruction that effectively supports these goals. This session is designed for educators, behavior analysts, and other professionals committed to fostering individualized, effective, and inclusive educational practices.
