Joshua (Josh) Hoppe has been working in the field of education for 24 years. He is a licensed special education teacher and licensed behavior analyst. In his career, he has worked as a 1:1 paraprofessional for students with emotional/behavioral educational classifications and Autism Spectrum Disorders and related communication and developmental disabilities, a special education teacher, a district autism consulting teacher, and a behavior analyst. In his current role as an educational specialist, Josh helps oversee the autism and applied behavior analysis programs for the State of Hawaiʻi.

Josh was a featured teacher in "Exceptional Children, An Introduction to Special Education" by William Heward, 10th and 11th editions.
